The Seven Wonders of Where you Live
An opportunity exists to promote where you live by entering our exciting new schools competition to tell us at New Directions Education the ‘Seven Wonders of Where you Live’.
The competition aims to encourage children to take pride in their community and appreciate their surroundings.
When selecting the ‘Wonders’ of your area you may like to consider ‘Wonders’ such as the Transporter Bridge of Newport, the Town Clock of Tredegar, Cardiff Castle, Sir Thomas Picton’s Monument in Carmarthenshire or even Stack Rock near Milford Haven.
The competition is open to whole classes in the following categories:
- Key Stage One - Work to be presented as an A3 illustrated Poster.
- Key Stage Two - work to be presented as PowerPoint presentation.
- Key Stage Three - work to be presented as a visual promotional video/DVD/PowerPoint presentation.
All entries will need to be submitted to Sian Symons at our Cardiff offices by 20th March 2008!
