Training Day at Fairfield High School
Nicky McAllister (Business Development Manager) with New Directions Education will be at Fairfield High School on Wednesday 17th February to deliver a training course in Promoting Positive Behaviour to Support Effective Learning to ALL of our registered teachers (although there are only a certain number of spaces available).
The workshop will cover the following main areas:
• Practical strategies to ensure successful behaviour management
• Using a model of human behaviour to promote more effective communication
• Sharing Good Practice
By the end of the workshop participants should:
• Understand how to promote and encourage positive behaviour which supports the learning of students
• Have acquired and practised effective skills to deal with difficult situations
The course will combine presentations with practical sessions and will aim to introduce some flexibility in order to address key issues for course participants.
The course is designed for anyone who is working in a classroom environment and you will be issued with a New Directions certificate on completion.
